Artist Reception: Saturday, June 6 at 3–6 pm
Maus Haus Gallery presents “Through the Lens: Serenity”, its 3rd Annual Photography Show. The exhibition opens on June 6 and runs through June 27 at Color | Ink Studio in Hazel Park. This year, artists were given a theme of “serenity.” They were able to define it in their own way. “With how chaotic the world has been lately, and everything feels rush, I felt that a calm theme would bring a brightness to the gallery space,” explained Cheryl Maus.
The artists featured in the exhibition are Candace Law, Catherine Smith, Cheryl Maus, Chris Charron, Mary Ann Del Greco, Darrell J. Dinges, John Hadala, Katie Mollon, Melissa Valenti, Mike Kroll, Troy David Ramos, and national artist Zachary Mills.
The public is invited to attend the Artist Reception on Saturday afternoon, June 6 from 3-6 pm. It’s free, and visitors will have the opportunity to meet many of the artists and discuss their work in person. Light refreshments will be available. There is free parking in the lot and on the side streets.
