Art : Dialog “Are You Gallery Ready?”

Art : Dialog is an opportunity for you to gather with other Detroit-area artists to talk about “all things art” and to share your work with other, like-minded creatives. The meeting is free and open to anyone interested in connecting with artists.

The featured topic for the first part of this session is “Are You Gallery Ready?” Discover where you stand on the path to success exhibiting your art. Take a self-evaluation of your readiness. Then make a plan for the next steps.

For example:

• Do you have 20-25 cohesive and consistent works ready for presentation?
• Are your artworks created with high-quality materials and presented professionally?
• Do you have an artist statement, biography, and resume prepared?

We’ll have ample time for conversation and networking during the break. And if you choose, bring one or two pieces of your work to share with us or to ask for honest, constructive feedback in a supportive setting during the balance of the session.

You’ll also have the opportunity to see “Through the Lens”, the 2nd Annual Photography Show organized by Maus Haus Gallery.
