Artist Reception: Friday, August 8 at 5–8 pm

Maus Haus Gallery presents the group show, “Lifelong Threads”. Four high school art class friends reunite decades later in an exhibition that traces their creative journeys through jewelry, painting, collage, and mixed media. Rooted in shared beginnings but shaped by distinct paths, the show explores how memory, material, and form intertwine over time. From polished metal to textured canvas, each piece reflects a personal evolution—and a collective bond that continues to shape their work.

The artists featured in the exhibition are Michael Opipari, Timothy Kelley, Bernadette Rose Smith, and  Buck Loncharich. The show opens on August 8 and runs through August 29 at Color | Ink Studio in Hazel Park. Once the show opens, visit MausHausGallery.com/online-preview to view the available work online.

The public is invited to attend the Artist Reception on Friday evening, August 8 from 5-8 pm. It’s free, and visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artists and discuss their work in person. Light refreshments will be available. There is free parking in the lot and on the side streets.

The Gallery is open Wednesday to Saturday, 1 to 5 pm, and at other times by appointment. To schedule a visit either click here to make an appointment, send an email to Gallery@ColorInkStudio.com, or telephone us at 248-398-6119.
