Eco-prints! Learn to make beautiful and unpredictable prints on paper using the natural dyes in leaves, flowers, and vegetables.
Join visual artists Melissa Rian and Candace Law in the studio for a fun 2-day workshop about this special kind of printmaking. Space is limited, so register early—you won’t want to miss out.
You’ll learn what plants and vegetables work best for prints, about mordants and dyes, and then experiment with various papers (and fabrics, if you choose). You’ll leave with lots of lovely printed papers to use in bookmaking, collages, or as unique greeting cards. No experience is necessary.
A selection of papers and plant materials will be provided for the workshop. Other supplies to bring and a list of plants that print well are included in the confirmation email you’ll receive after registering.
Sign up early and get the early-bird price! The cost is just $295 until September 8 or $345 for later registrations. At checkout, you will be able to pay securely online with a credit card or PayPal. Payment plans are also available from PayPal.
To Register (below), select the number of spaces you are reserving. Fill in the name(s) and contact information for yourself and any other participants. Then select a method of payment from the drop-down (credit card or PayPal) and complete your registration. You will receive an email confirming your registration and providing additional details.
Workshops are subject to cancellation because of insufficient enrollment or for other reasons. If a workshop is canceled, you will have the option to receive a full refund or transfer your registration to another scheduled workshop.
